5. NSW Contracts Wage Top Up – $150 Per Week

5.1 Program Overview

To qualify for this promotion, the worker must:

  • be engaged on an eligible NSW contract;
  • work approved hours in the relevant week under that contract; and

5.3 Reward Conditions

  • The wage top up is $150 per eligible week, based on a normal 38-hour week worked on a qualifying NSW contract.

  • The hourly equivalent is calculated as $150 divided by 38 hours = $3.9473 per hour.

  • The maximum wage top up payable under this promotion is $150 in any eligible week unless Preferred Care states otherwise in writing.
  • Only approved hours actually worked under the eligible contract count towards the calculation. Leave, unpaid absences, cancelled shifts, and hours not supported by approved timesheets do not count.
  • Payment will only be processed once all required timesheets for the relevant period have been completed, submitted, and approved.
  • If timesheets are incomplete, missing, inaccurate, or submitted late, payment may be delayed or not processed until the timesheets have been received and verified.
