Frequently asked questions
Generally, yes, travel and accommodation are supplied; however, this is contract-specific. Your consultant will confirm what is included with each placement before you accept a contract.
All of our travel nurses must have a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience.
For most hospital and rural and remote contracts, we look for demonstrated venepuncture and cannulation competency, as these skills are commonly required in acute settings. For aged care and other non-acute roles, these skills may not be essential.
Your recruiter will discuss the specific requirements for each contract with you and let you know which roles you are eligible for based on your experience and skill set.
For Rural and Remote contracts in particular, additional minimum requirements may apply depending on your specialty. These may include:
- Emergency: ALS certificate, triage training eg. ETEK
- Aged Care: NDIS Clearance
- ICU / Critical Care: ALS 2 certificate
- Remote Area Nurse (RAN): ALS, triage training and remote/emergency care courses
Contract lengths vary by facility and location. Many contracts run from 4 to 12 weeks, with some shorter or longer options available. We will discuss your availability, preferences and any minimum or maximum timeframes with you before putting you forward for roles.
We currently place nurses across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, predominantly in regional, rural and remote locations, with some opportunities in larger regional centres. Current vacancies are listed on our Job Vacancies page, and new contracts are communicated directly with our nurse pool.
You can apply directly for any listed role via our current travel nurse jobs; however, not all vacancies are advertised online. We often have upcoming or unadvertised contracts that are shared directly with our nurse pool.
To access the full list of current and upcoming opportunities, request a callback, and our recruitment team will contact you to discuss your experience, what you are looking for, and the roles that may be suitable for you.
